Some people hate these buds, some don't. All I can say is that this is a good product, but it requires patience and common sense to fully enjoy it. Here's my honest, hands-on review. First of all, you have to admit that these are not premium wired earbuds or premium wireless earbuds. You don't get the same sound quality as wired headphones. These headphones are a great option for casual people who, for example, have just switched to a new smartphone without a headphone jack. They are great for commuting and fitness. If you're looking for premium audio, look elsewhere. Second, you need to set up these headphones properly. In the box you will find 3 pairs of ear pads (small, medium, large). The right choice is very important to achieve the desired level of physical isolation. The headphones have noise-cancelling technology, but to be honest it doesn't make much of a difference and drains the battery faster. And the battery life is average. In my case I use them for commuting and my load factor is twice a week. In terms of software, these headphones are compatible with Sony's Headphones app, which offers a few sound settings for you to explore, such as: B. a preset equalizer. BUT: Keep in mind that most smartphones also have their own equalizer and sound options (even Dolby Atmos). You have to select ONLY ONE APP and disable all others available. First I turned everything on and all I had was audio chaos. Another recommendation: these headphones have plenty of bass, despite the small size of the drive. Go to the manual equalizer (if available) and lower the bass. Third, the build quality is really good, as is the packaging. Next to the ear pads you'll also find a USB cable for charging, but unfortunately Sony didn't include a carrying case. The control panel, located to the left of the cable, feels solid and the button layout is intuitive. I didn't feel any annoying weight hanging from my left ear. Believe me, it's not that difficult and won't bother you. Another thing: these buds are very easy to combine. Just follow the instructions and google before you explode with anger. Believe me. Finally, remember because this is very important: the headphones work with one of the best and latest audio codecs available and of course with the latest version of Bluetooth. I tried them with my current smartphone (Oneplus 7T) and they work very, very well. But then I tried them with a 2012 Sony Walkman (amazing sound quality but not the latest version of Bluetooth) and it was almost impossible to walk while listening to music due to frequent signal dropouts. So your experience with them also depends on the device you want to use them with. I wouldn't recommend blind buying if you need it for an old iPod, for example. Conclusion: Good headphones, but don't expect them to sound like wired ones in this price range. And performance depends on the right setup and the device you want to use it with. Have a nice day and thanks for reading.
