This set might be suitable for a guest room where it gets little use but overall it's very lacking. First, the advantages: the set is very beautiful, the colors are bright and juicy, it fits the image. The fitted sheet pocket is deep enough to fit into a pillow top mattress without tightening the corners. Now for the cons: The duvet is quite thin, which I consider summer weight. Pillowcases do not fit well on a standard queen pillow; You have to push the pillows. The duvet and sheet are much shorter/narrower than most queen sets. If you're fighting for covers, forget this set. At 86 inches, you're missing a much-needed 8 inches of material. The sheet material is not durable. After only 3 days of use, scratches appeared on the fabric. The seams are sewn poorly, the thread ends are sticking out. Finally the sheets are HOT. The sheets feel slippery but don't let air through, instead trapping and increasing your body heat. All in all I would happily pass this set on.
