I like this keyboard after using it a bit - even now that I'm writing this review. Use it around people who are sleeping, especially light sleepers. This combined with the fact that it was wired didn't do much good in my situation. Since I also needed a mouse for my laptop, I looked for a keyboard and mouse set with the following specifications: - Wireless. - Quiet (enough) keys/clicks. - Full Keyboard (+Numpad) - Reasonable Price - (Optional) Looks good. girl colors. The kit looks good. I ordered white/mint green because I love light/pastel colors (or as close as possible). Before ordering these I thought I would be bothered by the round keys on the keyboard, but enough use made me realize that there isn't much of a difference compared to square keys. Anyway, I don't notice anything. My initial reaction to using the keyboard was mild disappointment. Keystrokes are slower. sticky? than I had hoped. I was hoping for a really muted click, not keys that seem to stick slightly. Even if this feeling is gone after some use and in the end the keyboard is pleasant to use and pleasant to type on. If you want a keyboard that you enjoy using, then this isn't the keyboard. The keys still click, but the slight clutter that accompanies them doesn't excite the fingertips like you might think. The only thing I noticed about the keyboard is that the arrow keys are in an awkward position. . Several times my finger slipped from the Shift key straight to the up arrow key. Pressing Shift+Arrow keys starts the selection function. If your text cursor is at the very end of the text and you have only written one line of text, that entire line/line will be highlighted. If it's a paragraph, it will be highlighted, as will any text that is over the text cursor. (I'm terrible at explaining things, but it's easy to try yourself if you have access to a keyboard). Since the arrow keys are where they are, a few times I've accidentally deleted a bunch of text I was writing and then typed. This is easily avoided by recognizing that this is happening. although it was a bit frustrating the first few times. Luckily, the cancel button is a lifesaver. The mouse is silent. When the button is pressed, the click is dull. As for the wheel button, it's a bit louder --- sharper in sound/click. I was hoping that both buttons would sound the same since it made sense to buy a mouse with quieter buttons. Fits comfortably in your hand - not too big, not too small, just right. And it has a compartment to hide the USB transmitter when you need it. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. There's nothing to install or start downloading - plug in a USB transmitter and it's up and running in no time. There were / were no problems with the connection. Type quietly. And I was pleasantly surprised that both products came with batteries (AA for the keyboard and AAA for the mouse) already installed for immediate use.
