The question is whether the material can withstand the stresses of everyday life or intense activity.
All in all a good beach for this purpose at a good price. I'm not an avid runner so I can't confirm how the shoe will hold up after long runs. Good for hiking and gym. I recommend this shoe for ease of use and comfort.
