I have very thick and coarse facial hair which is detrimental to razors. Not only that, but she has curly hair and a double-edged razor gives me a bad shave. I've tried a MachIII razor in the past and found it useless because it doesn't shave any better than a dual blade razor but costs a lot more. A few years ago I received a free sample of the Gillette Fusion razor in the mail and tried it out. Wow! This thing actually shaved me well, not just me, and even had a nice trimming blade on my back. I thought a 4 blade razor would be too wide/long for a good shave but I was wrong. The best thing about Fusion is that the blades last LONG. I mean, it doesn't cost me anything to get away from a blade for two or three months. Wonderful. The only downside is that they're expensive, but considering how well they shave and how long they last, I still come out on top. This set of 8 was the best price/volume deal for me when I bought it, but as we know the prices here change all the time so do your homework.
