Hardware is a reliable manufacturer. A truly impressive piece of engineering. But not entirely helpful. First, FU Microsoft is forcing me to pay an extra $200 for a clunky, uncomfortable, low-quality keyboard. The grip seems great. if you use it yes If you rarely use it, it's just a very expensive item to carry around in your laptop bag. What has to be paid extra. Well, there the tablet is great. Correctly? Yeah right. like a tablet. The computer is not Windows. In tablet mode, many websites don't scroll for some reason. So many programs have been useless because they are not designed for touch controls. A very notable case is Adobe. To use the entire Adobe suite effectively, a mouse and keyboard are largely required. Yes, Adobe has touch versions of some of its programs, but you don't need a $1,500 tablet if you want to use them. Yes, some Adobe programs like Indesign have touch modes, but. who uses indesign? Photoshop and Premier don't respond well to touch, and that's really all people use. So this is a good laptop! Yes, that's right, it's a laptop with great performance. But it's a useless laptop. You can't apply this to yourself any better than eating dinner while holding a plate by one finger. Rear stand and the overpriced keyboard mentioned above. I'll spare you the list of ways you can't use it and just say that on the table it's the only way to do it. Needless to say I returned it and spent 1/4 the price on an ultra thin convertible and SO. MUCH BETTER being a laptop and a tablet. I agree with MS. What they've packed into this device is pretty damn innovative. But like the massive Mandangle, impressive doesn't automatically mean useful. The weird thing is that they actually made an ultra-thin version of the laptop Surface, but for some weird reason the performance is sterilized so it can't even compete with other ultra-thins in its price range.
