The old zipper covers for my travel pillow were quite old and the zippers were starting to snap. I think I like these envelopes more in the form of envelopes. They had a chemical smell at first, but after I washed them with my sheets and dried them on low heat with perfumed fabric softener, they smelled nice. They are 100% cotton so came out of the dryer crumpled. They crease less on the pillow, and what's the difference, they are very soft, and that's the most important thing.
