Fully Adjustable Pack - There are so many ways to adjust it for the perfect fit I was really blown away. This is far from my old plain package. You can adjust the waist, which is well padded, with a thick pillow for the back of the waist, like lumbar support pillows for chairs. You can adjust the upper body height - meaning you can move the entire padded back panel with attached shoulder straps while carrying the pack and then adjust the length of the shoulder straps as well. The chest strap can be moved up and down. There are straps on the top of the backpack to help you pull it closer to you. There are plenty of straps to make your load less bulky. You can adjust the top flap according to the height of your load. There is a large long zippered slot on the side of the backpack that leads to the main compartment. Pockets on the waist (zipped) and on the sides of the backpack, inside a large flat pocket next to the back (is that for a laptop?). That whole big area in the middle of the pack is also a big pocket. There are two pockets on the flap, one accessible from the outside, the other from the inside. The carpet has large loops for fastening. Inside there is plenty of room for a sleeping bag and lots of gear. And many more loops and the like for attaching small items, both inside and outside. I was so confused about all the possible adjustments I didn't know where to start, the picture didn't help much at first so I experimented with different ways and tried the longest and shortest torso settings to get an idea of where to go it should move for my body. After that it was much easier. It feels straight, love how it conforms to my shape. The backpack makes a very stable and well-made impression. I like the color - it's bright enough and easy to see from a distance, but doesn't blind the eyes.
