Review on πŸ§₯ Stay Comfortable and Protected with the StrikerICE Climate Jacket by Daryl Barton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is the reason I bought it.

Arrived as described. In terms of performance, as a long-time rider, I would suggest adding a binder over the flap to the two large external pockets to prevent water from getting into the pockets and items from falling out. It has many pockets in relation to the shift, but all are available at once. Remember that too many pockets when storing things can create a mess. In heavy rain and temperatures below 40 I was warm and dry, both in the inner layer and in the shell. So much so that I put on the inner layer (jacket) and my kid put on the outer layer to stay dry because their - Eddie Bauer - jacket didn't keep the water out. In this way, we were able to stay warm and dry for more than 30 minutes – in heavy rain and wind speeds of 24 km/h – until we hit dry ground. Sometimes when I was only wearing the inner jacket, rain would seep in through my collar. While a higher collar might have solved the problem, I'm not sure if it would have created a different, different problem when wearing an outer shell. Although the jacket was expensive, I was glad it worked and met my purchase needs. After putting on both the inner jacket and the shell I was very warm and had to "unzip" and was still dry. When I was only wearing the inner jacket, my core was still warm and dry and rainwater was collecting on the outside. The hood has a wire that holds it in place to give you an unobstructed view.
