Looks good but more quality control

First of all this cap could be perfect as it looks just as good as the picture. The problem is that the plastic grille on the sides protrudes slightly over the forehead (1/16 inch). This mesh is made of plastic and cuts into the top of the ears. I have tried to trim the excess with scissors to no avail. If I then "melted" the candle again, I would return it. Let's just say it didn't work out the way I thought it would.
