One of the coolest features of this sleeping bag is that if you have two of the same, you can zip them together into one giant sleeping bag. My wife and I tried it out on our first camping trip together and it worked pretty great.By itself it's extremely comfortable and very spacious, but it still rolls up into a super compact size. Really light and easier to carry.I'd definitely still recommend buying a sleeping pad to put underneath for warmth if you're sleeping in the mountains. A 30 degree rating is pretty good, but it's normal for the cold to seep in after a while if you're sleeping directly on the ground.
