Review on Tattoo Machine Traditional Handmade Shader by Jennifer Lyon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

At the highest level! From packaging to execution!

I've owned quite a few DragonHawk products now and this shader didn't disappoint at all! I was very impressed with its packaging. From the packaging, to the velvety feel of the box, to the foam that wrapped my new car. I was more excited upon unboxing than I was when I bought my $550 rotary press from AAA's "Pros Only" maker. You can tell this machine was handcrafted by someone who knows what they are doing and everything I needed to do. Twist my contact screw to my liking and the machine sounds and works like a charm! It's pretty tough and boy is it STRONG! I see this pushing large clusters of needles over 11M, but I haven't tried it as most of my large magazines are in cartridge form. Duty cycle 50%. I also slowed it down for a color pack with a larger gap (about a US nickel plus a cent) in the dot gap, and it worked as a powerful color packer at 90Hz and 45% duty cycle. above the level of a beginner kit and serious about tattoo and machine theory, this is definitely the machine for you! I also order a liner just to see how much I love this car! Quick note, I would most likely swap the screw's pin for brass because I really don't like the metal screw. I would also change the binding stand but the site says it's brass so I won't mess with it. Simply buy and see for yourself!
