Really good batteries
I use these batteries in a guitar with active electronics. The guitar manual estimates that a pair of fresh AA alkaline batteries will last around 15 to 20 hours. That's about what I get with EBL NiMH batteries. I play three to four hours a day, every day, so using disposable batteries is impractical and not environmentally friendly. With my set of 8 batteries I never run out of a fully charged pair.
