Significantly improved compared to a few decades ago
It's way better than the braided belts people wore in the late '90s. This one is sturdy, has a bit of stretch, and is quite flattering. Very good. And I will say that I am adding it now - it has become my favorite belt. I wear it all the time because it stretches - I don't even have to open it to go to the bathroom. So simple and so cute.
