It worked perfectly for me! I use the shelf to store my shampoo/body gel/etc. (not for children's toys). There have been some negative reviews online suggesting that the tray will not have adequate support unless you have sharp edges on either side of the tub. These reviews made me a little nervous before purchasing the tray due to the rounded edges and very little surface area on the inside rim of the tub, but I decided to give it a try anyway and I'm so glad I did. The tray has a very strong support even with a flat rim surface for the tray to rest on. I love it.
