First of all, congratulations to Anker for using tasteful glossy black plastic. Only the walls of the base and the sides of the phone stand (very thin) have a matte finish. This makes the charging station very compact and pleasant to the touch. The base is weighted and the top is covered in soft and grippy rubber. Running the cable to charge the watch takes a few minutes but is not difficult at all. It's pretty hard to screw up, although it took me a little longer to figure out the last piece next to the Type-A connector. The supplied power cable is not braided but has an extruded Type-C connector and is quite thick. Aligning your Airpods is not that difficult. I'm blind and I can feel it. There are only four things I don't like about this charger. First, my iPhone's bottom mic is completely blocked, making it noticeably harder for Siri to understand you. Second, while Airpods are easy to align, they're also easy to knock over. Third, even with the recommended QC 3.0 brick, the loading speed is pretty slow. This is a drip charger. I have to use it longer to say for sure, but it seems to charge my iPhone 11 a bit slower than other wireless chargers. Fourth, I wish there was a little more space between my 44mm SE watch and the Airpods Pro. Perhaps it feels less cramped on the smaller 40mm model. All in all, highly recommended, especially for the price. I don't think I would go with him. The phone stand sticking out so far from the base makes me paranoid that it might break off in a suitcase or something.
