Review on Emerson CFDR1ORB Oil Rubbed Bronze Ceiling Fan Downrod: 12-Inch Long and Stylish Design by Roger King

We bought an Emerson fan with light because it looked great in a friend's living room where there were many other lights to complement it. Other reviewers have said that light may not be the room's only source, but we found their rooms to be larger and it would have been nice to have our small breakfast room. Not true! The 100 watt halogen lamp is low and we now have a small lamp on the breakfast table to boost the fan light until we put tall hats in the room. It would probably be cheaper to get a better fan and light! As for the fan itself, it works well, but not as powerful as the Hunter fan we've had for 30 years or the modern fans we have in other rooms. But that worries me less than the light issue.
