Review on Antique Iced Blue Décor Therapy End Table by Michael Herrera

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Color maybe a muted sage green?

We bought two for the same bedside tables. They are insanely well packaged, so well that I had to lay out the styrofoam for three weeks of garbage collection. They are exactly what I expected and seem like a good deal for the price. The only negatives: There are no sliders on the drawers, so they make a little noise (I'm afraid a light sleeper will hear it in the next room) The drawers smell a bit of natural wood, so I had to take the clothes as I planned to, to keep them in there so it doesn't smell like a drawer but the bottom of one of them was dirty like it had been left on the dirty floor of a warehouse. The box was clean so I figured it probably wasn't mold and kept it. We bought two and the second was completely clean. We bought them in ice blue and I was concerned how that color would look in person. The color was what I expected (seen on an iPad with normal color settings) but it's a little hard to describe. Possibly steamed green sage? It's a nice subtle color, definitely not too garish or loud. 'Iced Blue' seems like a very unfortunate name to me as there is nothing blue in that color and 'Iced' makes me think bright. so I don't speculate about the title! One note to keep in mind: my little one almost pulled one on within a week of installing it. He wanted to open the drawer and they were sticking out when not being pulled straight out (easy for adults, not like that for a 14 month old) so he pulled on it and everything was turned upside down. Luckily my husband did a herculean sprint across the room and caught him with the lamp on him or he would have hit him. Just something to consider if you plan on placing it in the middle of a room or not mounting it to a wall. (They don't come with wall anchors, but probably should to avoid accidents or lawsuits.) I'm not the one to blame the manufacturer for this, as NOTHING is safe next to an active toddler and light furniture, least of all, but if you put it in a room that your child frequents and doesn't want to keep them at a distance all the time. something to think about.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • It's hard to remember but it was
