After reading so many negative reviews I wasn't sure if I should order this punch but I needed to get a cheap punch fast and it could be delivered the next day. When it arrived I used it to punch a few holes in folded brown paper bags (at least 8 layers of paper bag for each punch) and it worked great! After punching holes in a few bags, I noticed that it was getting harder to punch, so I emptied the small pocket on the punch head that held all the punched circles. It worked like new after that, so I suspect people who have had trouble hitting after a while probably haven't emptied that tiny compartment. I've used it several times since then and it's worked great every time. It also definitely meets my expectations as a teacher, although I don't use it in my classes. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this punch without hesitation!
