TapeCase White Reflective Tape

This reflective tape comes in handy for items you may never have thought of carrying. I use this tape with TapeCase in other widths, tapes on my hard hats, trash cans and lawn mower. I live on the main road and there are always traffic jams on the road. They hit my containers that are far from the road, so I feel like I am standing next to the road when mowing or standing next to the road for maintenance. Before I put this on my bins, I had to pick up the trash thrown out of my bins every time I took them out, but since I put them on my bins (2/19/15) I haven't had this problem, drivers stayed away . Make sure you wash with Dawn (or similar), rinse well and dry the area you wish to apply this to. This will remove any possible oils or debris that could affect adhesion on the surface you intend to apply the reflective tape to. Do not apply this tape in cold weather as it will not stick to cold surfaces. I tried and it didn't work, I just wasted the tape. It won't stick to sharp corners but works well with rounded corners. I love this product and have bought several colors and widths. The contrast also attracts attention during the day. One more thing, peeling the clear backing off the tape isn't easy, and sometimes I peel off the white reflective tape before the clear film peels off. This product doesn't reflect the light as well as other, more expensive products, but it works for those of us on a budget. This product says "Engineering Grade" which is useless in my opinion. I would think class 1 and if you want to know what the classes mean here they are; Clothing must have 1 inch wide reflective strips and at least 217 square inches of fluorescent material. Class 2: Activities that take place in the vicinity of vehicles moving at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour, such as railroad workers or school guards. The standard calls for wider reflective strips and 755 square inches of brightly colored fabric. Class 3: Activities that take place in the vicinity of vehicles moving faster than 40 km/h, such as B. Road construction. The standard requires a minimum of 1240 square inches of fluorescent fabric and 2 inch reflective strips. Only very large vests have enough surface area to meet this standard. I hope you find this useful
