Review on 🎙️ Movo WMX-1 2.4GHz Wireless Lavalier Microphone System for DSLR Cameras, Camcorders, iPhone, Android Smartphones, and Tablets (Up to 200 ft Audio Range) by Jason Rosekrans

I tested the system this morning by taking some video clips. Battery life was decent with rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. There was a very audible background hiss that needed to be removed and some of the recordings had intermittent clicks, like on an old vinyl record. The included lavalier mic doesn't have a very full range, particularly at low and high frequencies, and picks up a lot of ambient noise, including distant traffic and grass footsteps. And during one segment, the devices disconnected despite being within arm's length of each other. The size and weight are pretty good, and I haven't had any range issues; I tested it at a distance of about a hundred feet. For my purposes, the issues are tolerable for the price, but I could see this setup ruining a more important project. It works, but I have to constantly monitor it.
