Don't waste your money on this

I've only had problems since I bought this iron. I figured if I spent like $100 on an iron I would get a quality iron that was easy to use and durable. Not this one! 3 months after buying the iron, the steam button stopped working. It's supposed to rise with steam pressure, but mine doesn't. I contacted Rowenta as they were still under warranty. They made me send the iron back, not sure if they fixed it or gave me another one, but got a working iron back. It's leaking! Every time I fill it with water, wait for it to heat up to the temperature I set it to, I start squeezing and water comes out. Yesterday's leak made me unplug the piece of shit and grab my old Sunbeam iron. Not only did it spill over one of my husband's beautiful dress shirts, it also left rust stains all over the shirt. I use aerosol starch when ironing clothes. I noticed a large accumulation of rusty stuff on the front panel. I have never had this problem with my iron before 50.00. You must unplug this iron after each use. I think this is a good security feature. There is an annoying clicking sound when the iron is turned off but not unplugged. My advice: don't worry about this iron. Not worth the money
