Pro Photographer's Review: Great compact LED light but some details could be improved.

I recently received a new Pixel Liber LED flashlight and tested all the functions. I am a professional photographer, have several Pixel compact LED lights and am very familiar with their products. For anyone who might be interested, read on to find out why I found that this is a reliable 4 star flashlight. Advantages. First, functions basically work as described by the manufacturer. The light is quite compact and lightweight with a good range of features. Device controls are simple and easy to navigate. Light output is good, colors too. It is attached with a magnet (no magnetic absorption) or with threaded fasteners. When a fully charged battery was tested at 100% light output, it lasted almost 115 minutes new, but this time degrades as the battery ages. During this time the light became very warm but not too hot. The small screen is easy to read and provides all the information you need. There are two threaded mounts, one on top and one on the side, and a USB-C charging port is welcome. The flashlight also includes a silicone diffuser, USB charging cable, rotating shoe mount, 4 self-adhesive magnetic mounting plates and a 120MB/32GB Sandisk memory card. I also found good customer service from Pixel. minuses. The control app cannot be downloaded from the play store and I don't usually trust apps like those from this manufacturer. Pixel really needs to add apps to the Play Store for all of its products. Luckily, the device controls are easy to use and no app is required. The silicone diffuser cover is very good, but the side cutout for the controls doesn't fit quite as intended when mounted on the flashlight, leaving the controls a bit below the rim. Also note that the flashlight has a magnetic back for easy attachment to metal surfaces, but it's not really the same as "magnetic absorption". it's just a magnetic field. Instead, the Pixel should simply put the words "magnetic montage" on the list. I may update this information as I continue testing the light. and I don't usually trust apps like those from this manufacturer.
