I bought this for my husband who has a frozen shoulder that just got stuck and has been aching for about two years. It also tends to retain fluid in the legs and calves due to the complications of diabetes. He has used this weapon for 5 nights in a row and has more movement in his shoulder than he has had in a very long time. I swear something broke inside because after using the flat rubber nozzle in position 5 he twisted his shoulder and we heard a little click and he said it was like letting go of something. Additionally, using a bullet point on his feet and calves helped lift water up his legs so it could be recirculated throughout his body. There's a noticeable difference when we're done. I'm as impressed with this tool as he is. He was very skeptical when he opened it on Christmas morning, but after the first use he asked for it every night. Just to be safe, be aware that this is VERY powerful. This is NOT a comfortable, relaxing massage. It's meant to be a deep tissue massage that tends to hurt when it happens but feels amazing afterwards. We call him the night spanking and he's clutching the pillow tightly while I grope his legs. I would say this is probably too much for an older person or anyone looking for something soft and comfortable. This is a direct therapeutic tool designed to loosen the muscles.
