I bought this camera last summer after looking through a lot of different cameras for over a week. I used to have a couple of Kodak cameras (didn't like them at all as they would have poor battery/image quality) and I have a couple of Sony electronics so thought I'd get this camera instead based on the reviews /Previous as Sony and I were very impressed! It's pretty much point-and-shoot, and it has smile detection/blink detection software that lets you take pictures when a smile is detected, or if someone blinks it'll let you know. What I like most about the camera is that it works great in low light! Like I said, it's point-and-shoot and it can take pictures as you see them without the need for a flash. The pictures sometimes look "recorded" I don't know why, or something like a fake but I think it's just related to the quality of the camera and after you print the pictures they look like a normal one picture off. Overall I think this is a great camera. It's worth the price and I had no problems with it. The battery lasts a long time, the picture quality is stable. I haven't had to fiddle with settings at all and I usually use Superior Auto for all my photos and it does a good job of getting good images. Images can be uploaded to Facebook or emailed quickly and easily using the included Sony PMB software.
