Okay it's been 4 times since I bought this shave and I've officially converted. I'm sick of paying inflated prices for decent disposable razors, and I'm even more frustrated with uneven stubble and ingrown hairs after buying cheaper ones - not to mention all the waste they create. So I decided to go back to the old school and see what the fuss was about these things. Well, in a word, simplicity. I should have switched many years ago. Just a few very small nicks the first time, but every shave gets better as I discover the art of the right angle and let the razor do its job. Soften your stubble in the shower first, then shave slowly - just over half the speed you're used to. As for the badger brush and other fancy stuff, well, only Gillette's Sensitive Skin Gel does the job so far.
