This is a nice bright surface mount dome. I installed it in my Morohome to replace an incandescent bulb that wasn't bright enough. The bracket is very thin and easy to install. The bracket mounts first and the bracket lines up with the tabs, then slides out of the way and stays loosely in place. I didn't like the cheap mount so I decided to mount the lamp differently. The case is held in place by 4 very small screws, one in each corner. I disassembled the bracket very easily and drilled 2 holes on opposite corners, big enough for long sheet metal screws. I held the attachment in place and drilled smaller holes in the metal dome. Then I connected and installed the device.
