The fit of this shoe is different. The "foot hole" is, for lack of a better term, larger than other similarly designed shoes. This means your foot moves more in the shoe without pressing in too much near the tongue or heel of the shoe. It has a cheap feel, which is forgivable given the price, but other brands make comfortable shoes in a similar price range. There is almost no padding between your foot and the ground, you feel every step. I'll wear them occasionally over the next few months, but if they still feel that way, they'll be donated to goodwill.
