Not for everyone Good for electricians

---Switches are programmable but receivers are not.---If you need a single light with remote control, this product will do. If you need multiple lights on the same remote control frequency, the respond to multiple remote controls, then this product can work. (Imagine you have three lights in your kitchen, and they all respond to two remotes placed for easy access.) (Because you can reprogram the switches.) But if you have multiple lights, each one has to come along individually be controlled by the remote control, it is unlikely that it will succeed. (Imagine one light for the garage and one light for the cloakroom, so when you turn on the breaker in the closet, you most likely turn on the light in both the closet and the garage.) This is because the company is 10 unique produces codes for their lamps. Receiver and Receiver cannot be reprogrammed. And Revain doesn't know what code(s) to send for your order as the code is INSIDE the box. So if you order five of these, Revain will take five boxes and not look at the codes as they are in the box. Chances are you won't get five unique codes. IKEA has a reprogrammable remote control, but their receivers are ALSO reprogrammable. I would recommend using IKEA products. That's a shame, because at this price point, the company could sell a lot more products to customers who need multiple lights. Right now most of their happy customers only buy one unit or maybe two. In fact, for any home without built-in lighting, this would be the ideal solution. How much better would it be if all customers bought four or five of these lamps instead of one or two. Switches look like real wall switches.)
