I didn't pay enough attention to the measurements and it worked in my favor! I would probably pass this wonderful little turntable on provided something of this size could have a great sound. When I unboxed it and saw the size I was skeptical but once I put it in it was great! Full, rich sound, stylish and compact! To give an idea of the size I've added a photo of the socket. I ordered a tiny shelf from Amazon that I think works for Alexa devices and it fits perfectly. I have it in my kitchen, on the shelf and on the counter and I listen to it every time I cook. Very happy with this little power station! Edit: I bought a second one of these and it's great! This is in a more visible place so that the flashing light bothers me. Attached is a photo of my solution - I used silver nail polish to cover the light! It still glows blue around it, but it's more subtle and when it's not on polish it still looks good.
