Works great. I think I would have liked them more if they were a bit thicker to make them easier to handle. This is a minor thing though (and the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5). You're still fine. I would not recommend putting them on the side of the picture simply because they fold too easily when applied to a jigsaw puzzle. If you don't cut them to exact measurements the overlap wouldn't look good from the front, I would just glue it to the back.
