Review on 🔌 Optimized Sunco Lighting Downlight Junction Installation by Bob Jensen

Disappointment doesn't explain my opinion of these lights. I'm a contractor by trade, I've been in this business for 25 years, I've never seen a product failure like this. I bought a set of 24 6" lights and 6 sets of 4" lights to remodel a property I own. The property consists of two blocks, noise transmission between floors is quite poor, so I decided to remove the ceilings, install soundproofing and install soundproof drywall. I figured the thin washer wouldn't interfere with the soundbar and the spacer would help close the hole in the drywall. I finished the drywall last week and started cutting holes to expose the power wire, I installed the discs and to my surprise half of the installed lights failed. In this jurisdiction I have to hardwire all my electrical cords which makes changing the box a nightmare. I called Revain, they contacted the company by phone and they had no answers, after a little correspondence they sent me a new pack of 24 and 6. From the new world the third failed again! Now I'm wondering if I'll have a long-term problem with these things. Not to mention trying to replace boxes in the ceiling without turning my new and very expensive drywall into Swiss cheese ($68 a sheet!). Very disappointed, will definitely never use this brand again. I bought some from Home Depot and they work fantastic.
