I take sun protection very seriously so my mineral sunscreen needs to contain at least 18.75% Zinc Oxide to provide an SPF of 30 (1% Zinc Oxide gives an SPF of 1.6) to frequently wear to protect both neglected, prematurely aging UVA rays and the sunburn-causing UVB rays. it contains 20% zinc oxide! Also, it's rated 1 on the EWG website, so its ingredients are in no way toxic or harmful, which I really appreciate for long-term use. The best part is that it leaves no white residue and is mostly oily. Totally invisible on my skin tone, this sunscreen has a very light lotion texture (it hydrates like a moisturizer, which I love!). CONS: The texture is a bit sticky but to be honest it doesn't bother me too much. Usually dries matt; after that there is a slight sheen. I apply some DERMA E Sun Protection Mineral Powder SPF 30 to my face for a mattifying effect and use it to reapply. The sunscreen also has a slight, distinct odor that dissipates immediately.
