I've done a TON of research on kitten food and am very happy with the Merrick Backcountry. The kittens are healthy with soft fur and unlike some other high quality brands, my kittens are not vomiting or have terrible gas. They love it and will grab the chicken pieces straight away, but will eat anything willingly. Because the pellets are tiny, even the smallest kittens can eat them as long as they have teeth. I can't say enough good things about this meal, and the subscription and save makes it a tad cheaper. You can probably find cheaper food elsewhere, but it costs money. Its ingredients are what I would feed my family so I know I'm doing what's best for our adopted kittens. (I also use Whole Earth Farms kitten food. It's also Merrick and just as good quality, but slightly cheaper and contains no chicken parts.) As a bonus, it's made in the US with only local ingredients. , too much of. A good thing.
