This has the advantage that it is easy to use and standard cups fit in the holder. I also like that there is an optional basket for ground coffee. I had a little trouble at first getting the ground coffee basket to close the lid, but with some gentle manipulation it closed. The downsides are that the plastic inserts don't hold a full cup of coffee on the small shelf that lifts the cup. I just keep the little cups tight so the liquid doesn't splatter everywhere. I gave it a 3 because everything is plastic and the cup lifter isn't strong enough. I won't be returning it because it basically does what we need it to do and quickly makes a cup of something.
