Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

Hi all. I have experience driving from AT on maxis 771, yokohama 012, toyo open country. And so I bought a maxis at-980. I will add information that is difficult to find. Tire size 215/70/16. Weight 14.8 kg (for comparison, maxis 771 has 12.9 kg). Tread depth 13mm (all listed 10mm). when installed, the tires balanced perfectly. Somewhere 20g per wheel, somewhere up to 80. But in general, for such heavy wheels, it’s good. Tires are not hard, bumps swallow well. They do not jump much on the rut. The main and significant drawback is noise. Everyone who writes reviews here makes me wonder. Either users compare the noise from this model with MT, or the reviews are unreliable. Noise compared to other ATs is almost twice as loud. To whom it is critical - see another model. Another plus is the price. Good tires for the money. If it weren't for the noise, it would be just great. . mileage 5 thousand balancing after a couple of thousand noticeably gone. the tire fitter says that this is how it should be on heavy ATs. But this was not the case with other tires before. Ride on some dirt. They paddle great. Nowhere stuck, where it was scary before.

Pros
  • Deep tread, not hard.
Cons
  • very noisy, balancing goes away.
