This is the third straightener I've tried and by far the best. The compact design and teeth are perfect for short to medium beards or "short medium" beards like mine. I start with a coarse, very curly, tightened pubic beard on my shower face and end up having twice the length and soft beard in 5 minutes. Use a wide-toothed comb at the beginning and end up with the hair smooth enough to use the thin side. Love the quick heat up and the fact that the temp number shows as the temp rises to ensure consistent status. The rubber scratch guard is perfect too and I don't miss the swivel cable as much as I thought because it's so compact and maneuverable. If you have a rough pubic bone on your face, it's easy to buy.
