Works with iPhone for music but not calls

Good EMI protection headphones are hard to find. I tried these, it only works when I'm listening to TV or music on an iPhone. Doesn't work with calls, nobody can hear me. So I only use it in bed at night to watch TV. Also one earbud came loose after 3 months of use, stuck it back on, yes stupid but still works for the tv in bed at night.
