I bought this to replace another bluetooth adapter that just stopped connecting one day a day after the return window closed and the company I bought it from didn't respond to my warranty request. I used it in a 2012 Honda Accord. The standard head unit has Bluetooth capabilities, but only for calls. I wanted to stream audio from my phone. This is the second Bluetooth adapter I've ever bought. I liked the fact that it's just a board in a plexiglass box. The box itself had to be assembled, which isn't a problem, but the box really only holds together with pressure. There are no grooves in the walls. But everything connected without problems. A blue light will flash to let you know what's going on. The pairing process went very well. I recently bought a new phone and it had no pairing issues. This device turns on and off with my car. I specifically didn't want a device with a battery. This device did exactly what I wanted it to do. When I start the car, the connection takes about 2-4 seconds. So far there are no obvious problems with this device. I really like this bluetooth adapter. Great price, great product.
