, I have daughters aged 7, 12 and 14 who love making bracelets. I liked the board idea of holding the bracelet while they work so they don't use a safety pin on a) pants, b) furniture, or c) bro. I know, I know . . . I used to do that, but something has changed. All in all I think it's a good set if you already know what you're doing. The instructions are basic. Bracelets can be made from the items provided but I find the cord difficult to work with and if I do then no doubt the child can handle it. But it works really well with embroidery floss, so we decided to use it.
