This dress was ordered for a competition by my 6 year old granddaughter. The dress arrived within 3 days as promised. While the dress was the same basic style as the picture, the actual dress didn't really look as high quality as the photo. The fabric is very sheer and the tailoring isn't the best, I had to trim some of the excess threads. While the flowers on the bodice were a nice touch, the petals weren't glued on and were all crumpled. The size approached as expected. I ordered size 6-7. My granddaughter usually wears a number 6 so it was long. However, I put about 6 hours of work into the dress; Press each layer and press each flower with steam, lift shoulders and stick crystals in the center of each flower to add sparkle. Also added a hoop petticoat (cost was $11) and added 2 mesh skirts (which I had) and it changed the world! *Tip: For best results, place the hoop under a pretty petticoat as the fabric is sheer. So if you don't mind investing a little more time and maybe some money for some extra sparkle, the dress is really very pretty! The quality of the dress is probably not suitable for long-term wear, but it will do for a day event. I rated it a 3 because of the work I put into it, but it's definitely worth the money I paid for it! I would definitely buy again as I don't mind going to work rather than paying big bucks for a dress to be worn to an event!
