Love my new bohemian quilt! For my queen bed with a platform base and 12 inch memory foam mattress, I ordered the California King Size quilt because I wanted it to reach to the floor on the sides and bottom with enough material on top to tuck under the pillows can be . I don't always find time to pull out extra cushioned pillows. Do not get me wrong. the panties are nice and make the bed "readier", I'm just more in a hurry in the morning. If you have a skirt, a shorter mattress, or don't want to use extra material like I did to cover the bed pillows, a regular queen size would be perfect as it's already too big compared to most . I've only washed it once, but it washes and tumbles dry well. No fading, shrinking, or wrinkling, and I found no protruding threads at all. I highly recommend.
