I wasn't thrilled with the packaging at first. It came in a box that is thinner than the record box you get when you order from Revain. The mat itself came in a plastic bag, and after I removed it, I noticed an electrostatic charge that started attracting the hairs on my arms. I have this quick cleaning and drying and the static is gone. It's time to test it. In May the record sounds much better than it did on my felt record that came with the Fluance RT80 turntable. Now the sound is much clearer. The pad itself is thin so it sits well on the record and holds the record well. So far I like it very much.
