As soon as I took it out of the packaging, the left earpiece stopped functioning. I had done my research beforehand and knew that many others already owned it, but I still wasn't expecting to find this in my package when I finally made my purchase. When placed in the charging case, the right earbud glows red while the left earbud blinks red incessantly and does not respond to any input. Make sure the headphones you buy from Sony are sealed in a film and not tape or anything else before you buy them, fellas.
