This belt is a little disappointing. If I had held this belt with my eyes closed, I would never have realized it was leather. He is "hard as a stone". The material is so hard and stiff that it's almost like trying to bend a piece of wood when trying to fasten the buckle. Next time I'll look for something better. The width may be slightly narrower than expected. And that belt is probably not the best choice to wear with jeans. All of my jeans would accept a belt at least 1 1/2 inches wide. I would recommend going for a wider, more flexible, thicker belt with some style or texture to use with jeans. This belt is more like a cheap dress belt.
