First it is important to note that this is HAND WASH ONLY. If you don't have the time and space for it, don't buy this blanket. This hand knitted blanket is beautiful and at the perfect temperature. Due to the open knit, it is not too warm, but provides enough warmth to keep you warm. Because of the size and weight of the knit, it's also a good alternative to a lighter blanket when warmth is needed (most weighted blankets can't provide much warmth). However, there are a few things to note: 1) As this is an open knit, small arms and legs can get tangled. Use extreme caution and supervise children near the ceiling to avoid entanglement or choking hazard. Nobody wants tragedy because of careless handling. 2) Again, this is hand wash ONLY. So don't keep it in a place where Cay can spill or where little sticky hands can cause problems.
