Review on 📺 SAMSUNG BN59-01179A Replacement Remote Control for Smart TVs by Nancy Acosta

I ordered this to replace the original Samsung remote that came with my TV. The light does not work on the remote control that I received. I think it doesn't have a backlight based on other buyers' feedback on the backlight issue, and it's almost an ounce lighter than the original Samsung remote. He has a much cheaper "fake" one. It also needs to be held at some fancy angles to make it work, but once you find the sweet spot, it works flawlessly. My TV is 13 feet from my sofa and this remote works fine when I point it at the ceiling fan which is 8 feet from the sofa. If you point it at the TV, it doesn't work. You get what you pay for. UPDATE: 7-20 out of nowhere the light just started working and now it won't go off.
