Surprisingly, I wish they didn't have to connect to the same place.
It's super neat! But I was very disappointed to see that they both had to be plugged into the same place instead of having two separate ports. Because of this, I couldn't fully illuminate the bottom of my couch, which really sucks. I'm only deducting one star because they seem to be of amazing quality and I love everything you can do with the app! They are very sensitive to the music mode and can follow everything, even your conversation! I also like that they stick to the fabric very well! I was surprised!
