This unique set combines affordable yet great sounding in-ear headphones with a Bluetooth cable. For the price they sound fantastic and I'm really impressed with these headphones. These are the new Metalen Pro and they use 3 drivers per ear. The answer is pretty flat which makes it good for mixing and monitoring. If you're looking for enhanced bass, this isn't for you. I appreciate the relatively flat curve, the mids and highs sound so good on them, even with a Bluetooth cable. I will say that the Bluetooth cable doesn't sound as good as a wired one, and that's to be expected. I like to think of Bluetooth as a bonus, and it's great to listen to during a workout or when I just want to casually listen to music or podcasts. The sound isn't bad, but the difference is noticeable. You don't want to use Bluetooth with your computer when playing music as there will be a delay and the sound isn't that great anyway. I'm very happy with wired cables, they don't have a mic and the cable is a nice braided cable that wraps around your ears like any traditional IEM cable. There is not much to say about the Bluetooth cable. It's very standard but well made and easily detaches from the headphones. The connector used is a high quality round type and snaps into place. Charging is done with a micro USB cable, which is a little dated but works well. Battery life is good, lasting almost a full day during my testing. The headphones are the real star of this set. They have a metal body that's not too heavy, but noticeably heavier than plastic headphones. Once they are properly in your ear, you don't feel them at all. A good selection of tips is included to achieve a good fit. I prefer monitoring foam and rubber tips for casual listening. Everyone has their own preferences, you can even make custom tips which are probably your best bet for a good seal. The overall sound quality is fantastic, especially at this price point. I've heard much more expensive IEMs that don't sound any better than these. Just be aware that they are for mixing and monitoring so you won't get powerful bass, at least in my experience, but it's there and the drivers are capable of decent bass along with nice crisp highs and mids produce who are. t there. boring at all. I like the ability to switch from Bluetooth to wired, it only takes a few seconds to switch cables. A good semi-hard case is included for cables and all accessories. The packaging is nice and I am very happy with these BASN Metalen Pro headphones.
