Bought for my boys (ages 10 and 13) as a gift as both are baseball players and the #1 was their baseball numbers. This is a BIG necklace and they loved it. Delivery in a box. Doesn't look cheap. The chains are a bit thicker, but you can change that if you want. My son accidentally got wet and his skin or chain didn't turn green, so that's a good thing. But I recommend NOT getting it wet. Great gift and you don't have to use it as a necklace, you can keep the chain and turn it into a keychain as a gift for teachers or coaches.
